conjunction with Kenya Airways) fly direct into Zanzibar.
Other large airlines including British Airways, Egypt Air,
Emirates Airlines, South African Airways and Swiss Air fly
into Dar es Salaam which is a short journey by air or sea
to Zanzibar.
Zanzibar is easily reachable from Dar es
Salaam by ferryboat (1.5 to 4 hour trip) or a 20 minute

Stone Town to Kendwa...
From Stone Town, Kendwa is 60 kilometres
to the north and the journey is a scenic trip usually just
over one hour by taxi, motorbike, hire car or daladala.
